Marco Passarotti è professore associato di Linguistica computazionale all’Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Allievo di padre Roberto Busa, uno dei pionieri dell’analisi computazionale dei dati linguistici, dal 2006 guida il progetto della Index Thomisticus Treebank. Nel 2009 ha fondato, insieme a Savina Raynaud, il centro di ricerca Circse, di cui è attualmente direttore. Dal giugno 2018, è principal investigator di un Erc-Consolidator Grant (LiLa: Linking Latin) il cui obiettivo è creare una knowledge base di risorse e strumenti per il latino connessi attraverso il paradigma Linked Data.
